One of the most recognized names in all of Western art, Gerald Harvey Jones or G. Harvey developed a passion for painting as a child while growing up in the rugged Texas hill country north of San Antonio. G. Harvey’s grandfather was a trail boss at the tender age of 18 and regaled him with stories of the old west. Harvey went on to attend North Texas State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Art. Harvey began his career bky painting landscapes of the Texas Hill Country but has become famously known for street scenes of Texas cities and iconic scenes of other American and International cities such as New York, Boston, and Paris.
